Grapenuts Pie Crust

Here’s a recipe I’ve used for pie crust. I have to warn you, though, that it will never fool anyone into thinking it’s “real” pie crust. It’s fairly simple:
2 cups grapenuts cereal
1/2 cup apple juice concentrate
Crush the cereal in a food processor. Put it in a bowl and mix in the apple juice concentrate. Press the mixture into the bottom and onto the sides of a pie pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes if you plan to use a no-bake filling, OR just fill and bake according to pie recipe instructions.
I’ve heard of people using flour tortillas as pie crusts (just line a pie pan with them) but I’ve never tried that. Also, you can line a pie pan with several sheets of phyllo dough. I’ve done that before, and it’s pretty good. Finally, you can always just leave off the crust–radical, I know, but really cuts the calories!
