3 Cups coarsely chopped peeled apples (about 2 med.)
2 1/4 Cups coarsely chopped peeled bartlett pear (about 2 med.)
1/4 C apple cider
1/2 C fresh cranberries
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Combine the first 7 ingredients in a medium saucepan over med. heat. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until the fruit is tender. Remove from heat, and stir in lemon juice.
