		<description>Yes, you can blend raw carrots in the Vitamix. I have a Blendtec (which is basically Vitamix&#039;s sister blender) and carrots, beets, anything frozen blend very well. They do blend better with a liquid, though.

You can blend oranges, lemons and all other fruit as well. Their powers are pretty much equal, so if one blends, the other should.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m glad to see someone else does the same things I do. I have another tip.....I blend strawberries, silken tofu, rice milk, ice and 1-2 pkgs of Truvia.  I also blend seedless watermelon, silken tofu, 1/4 c of rice milk and maybe a pkg of Truvia and freeze it for a yummy treat when I have a sweet craving.  Cantalope is really go in place of watermelon.  Silken Creations is also good w/ strawberries or any other fruit; just much sweeter.</description>
