    I think there was to much water. The beans were really watery. I boiled them gor a bit and they thickened up after about half an hour and really are fabulous!

    @Pheobe….did you see that the directions say to drain the water off of the beans before mashing? Perhaps you did not do that and that’s why you thought there was too much water….
