A floret of garlic is the same as a bulb of garlic.

Thanks,
Pasuleka

Would be about 2 smaller bunches of kale or one large bunch. If you remove the stems, you can add it when she says to (I did) and it turned out great, or you could probably still add it in earlier too!

Made this and LOVED LOVED LOVED it! Ate on it for DAYS! Instead of pureeing the soup in a blender, I used an immersion blender for a little while until it got a little creamy. FANTASTIC! The only other change I made was using canned beans, rinsed VERY WELL, but I did use dry lentils, of course! Love! Thanks so much!

This recipe made a TON, and I’m wondering if 6 servings is really true? And does anyone know how many cups that would be?

Thank you!

Sorry for the delay. It should be Just one bunch at the end.
Also just to inform you that this recipe will be in one of Dr. Mark Hymans new cook books coming out shortly.

Aimee, I tend to agree with your assessment, but I’ve had kale that was as tender as tree bark, so I could see it going in at the start. 😉

Please clarify first part of recipe. Is the first bunch of kale soaked with the kidney beans and lentils for 12 hours? And then do you add another bunch of kale at the end? This recipe sounds great. Thanks for your help.
Linda
