Sun, 21 Jan 2018 01:55:39 +0000http://fatfreevegan.com/?p=6887#comment-427011]]>I’m trying something different tonight. I’m boiling them in a broth of the marinade ingredients, then turning them down to simmer until ‘al dente’. I’ll let you know 😉😉

I used quite a bit of smoky paprika and minced garlic in the marinade and kept in the fridge for nearly two days. Worked a treat, will definitely make again.

recipe I’ve tried since I started to eat the right way (Vegan). They are great!
I can’t wait to make them again for my family. Funny thing…
I don’t even like carrots usually. Lol.

I think the recipe benefits from toppings that are both flavorful and suggestive of hot dogs– like chili or maybe sauerkraut. I used rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, liquid smoke, LOTS of black pepper and a long marinate.

So disappointing, we could not eat them, they went in the bin. Was this recipe posted on 1 April? surely it’s a joke? (not to mention that a carrot does not provide protein like a real veggie dog does.)
