My package of split peas says to cook 1 lb of peas with 8 cups of water. Maybe I’ll try that next time. 1 cup doesn’t seem like enough peas.

I am familiar with bobs redmill stuff. I also just ordered your book to check it out from the library. Looking forward to it. Thanks for your time 🙂 (and cannot wait to try this recipe)

here.

You can get it on Amazon and in most Whole Foods or health food stores.

Anyway…it’s 90 plus degrees here today and I have your farro/split pea/potato soup in the crock pot outside on the 3rd floor condo deck cooking away. I’ll drive my neighbors crazy with the fabulous smell. You rock girl!

It is pre-cooked. I have been needing a use for it!

In the future I might make a change and use veggie broth instead of water. I omitted the veg bouillon so it needed something else. This recipe will definitely go into rotation next fall.
