In New York there have been many public displays of love and compassion, from walls of post-its to graffiti. These gestures and offerings are so important, because they do remind us that, for every act of hate, there are also acts of boundless love all around us.

And the idea of tea-infused oatmeal is certainly a crack of inspiration light in my day!

Your pastel, and the story of the covered up swastika, are a bit of heart warmth in this quite frightening time.
I agree that it’s been hard to smile or laugh lately – and those instances where a small giggle or awed stare are something to hold on to and savor. Let’s keep collecting the little things, the smiles, the kind acts, and hopefully some wonderful big things will come of all the little butterfly flitting… 🙂 It might help me feel less hopeless and powerless to change the world. xoxo
