Chai
Ingredients:
2 ounces of ground cinnamon
2 ounces of ground cardamom
2 ounces of ground allspice
2 ounces of ground cloves
2 ounces of ground ginger
Mix all of the spices together. You should end up with the equivalent of 36 tablespoons, enough for 9 gallons (36 quarts) of this magnificent drink.
To make one quart:
1 tablespoon of the (above) spice mix
1 teaspoon of vanilla
4 tablespoons of sugar or other sweetener
1 quart of soymilk
Method
Mix all ingredients well. I used a plastic container, with top, and shake like a palm tree during Hurricane Andrew. This drink is wonderful cold, but served steaming hot, it’s pure heaven.
