Source: Eat for Strength (Thrash)

1 cup lentils
4 cups cold water
1 cup tiny white onions
1 clove garlic, chopped
3 carrots, sliced

(optional ingredients – use some or all)
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup diced potato

Wash, then soak lentils overnight in 4 cups cold water. In the morning cook lentils 1/2 hour and then add all other ingredients. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Serves: 3 – 4

*Adjust seasonings to personal taste.
