1 10.5-ounce package lite extra-firm silken tofu, frozen and thawed [I use regular water-packed tofu myself – still frozen and thawed]
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp poulty seasoning
1 tsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 tsp minced fresh garlic
1/4 tsp minced fresh gingerroot

Cut the tofu into 6 slices lengthwise. Combine the remaining ingredients in a rectangular baking dish. Marinate the tofu in the sauce for 30 minutes, turning several times.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Bake for 40 minutes, turning once halfway through the baking time. Add to sandwiches or eat plain.

Note: I find doubling the above marinade works best if you use regular rather than silken tofu.
