Starchy vegetable are limited on the Eat to Live diet, but sometimes it can be hard to tell what’s starchy and what’s not. Here’s a list compiled by members of the Eat-2-Live Yahoogroup.
winter squash (butternut, acorn, and other winter varieties)
broad beans – green beans, wax beans, etc.
chayote (mirliton, chouchou)
herbs – parsley, cilantro, basil, rosemary, etc.
patty pan squash
scallion (green onion)
yellow summer squash

Is a sweet plantain limited but sweet banana unlimited (because is a fruit)? I was hoping the plantain was considered a fruit! 😳
