Pomegranate Vinaigrette
2 Tbs ground flax seeds
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup pomegranate juice
1 cup balsamic vinegar
1. Shake all ingredients in tightly covered container or mix in a Vitamix or blender.
2. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
3. Shake before serving.
Servings: 6
Yield: Makes about 1 1/2 cup dressing

Just had a chopped salad drizzled with this dressing and loved it! The ground flax really helps keep the dressing on the leaves instead of floating in a pool of liquid at the bottom of the bowl. Next time, I think I’ll try it with white balsamic and thyme instead of sage. Can’t wait to experiment with this one. Thanks for posting!
